Please join us in making the Woodmoor Carnival an experience to remember. Sign up here to volunteer.

Day of the Child Celebration!
Join Woodmoor's Natural Leaders Team for a fun new tradition at Woodmoor. On Friday, April 25th, we will start with some fun Math Night activities that focus on learning math skills while playing games! Then we'll have food, fun and games all to celebrate the United Nation's Annual Day of the Child. If you would like to help, please contact Elizabeth Mesa at emeza@nsd.org or 425-408-5625.

May Student of the Month
Congratulations to Jadon Fry for being PTSA Student of the Month! Jadon has organized a bake sale to benefit one of our teachers who is battling cancer. Thank you Jadon for your caring nature and your initiative to start something so meaningful!

Read-A-Thon is Coming!
The PTSA Read-A-Thon (RAT) starts on May 2nd! Our school goal this year is PARTICIPATION - to get all student reading daily and excited about reading. RAT is also a fundraiser for the school and it supports a variety school activites and programs. Look for a packet from your children on May 2nd and get reading!

Online Registration for PTSA Membership
We are excited to announce online Membership registration!   Joining the PTSA is easier than ever.  First, join our website, if you haven't already, and then just click the "Get/Renew PTSA Membership" button on the left menu bar.   For the 2013-2014 school year, Family membership is $22.50 and includes a free gift for all students in the family and 2 free Woodmoor phone directories. Woodmoor Emergency Preparedness
We live in an area that is at risk for a natural disaster, such as a major earthquake.  If a regional disaster were to occur, it is estimated that due to damage to our region’s infrastructure only one half of Woodmoor’s students would be able to go home the first day, and it could take several more days for the remaining students to get home. The PTSA is committed to making sure we have supplies to be able to care for our children and the Woodmoor staff, since a regional disaster could happen at any time. Woodmoor Crossing and Parking Lot Safety
We would like to remind our walkers to always use the cross walk at the intersection of 160th and 124th street. Woodmoor students and Junior High kids should never enter and exit through Woodmoor's back gate on 124th. Please help us keep your child safe when they walk to and from school.
