PTSA is pleased to partner up with Northwest Fundraising, a local company serving Northwest schools since 1993, for our major fall fundraiser. All profits earned from this event are granted back to teachers for classroom supplies and activities. Every Woodmoor student benefits from this fundraiser. To view some of the products that will be featured in our fall fundraiser or to order online, visit their website at http://nwfundraising.com. Please note that online ordering is only available during the fundraising event. For anyone unable to order online, use the order form provided and simply return your order to school with your payment. For other questions please contact the fundraising committee chair.

You want to support Woodmoor PTSA, but selling or buying items is not for you. That’s why we’ve created the Pass the Hat fundraiser. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. If your employer has a matching funds program, provide us with their contact information and our school will doubly benefit from your generosity. Checks should be made out to Woodmoor PTSA. To donate online using a credit card, click on the link below. It is safe and easy!

Safeway participates in Escrip which is a fundraising program that allows Safeway to contribute a percentage of your Safeway Club Card, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to the Woodmoor Elementary PTSA. The Escrip program is easy to use and is a great vehicle for fundraising in that your normal purchases generate cash contributions from Safeway to the Woodmoor Elementary School PTSA. Corporate Matching Gift

Chair:
Richard Kobylka
When:
All year

Many companies have programs through which they will "match" the charitable contributions made by their employees. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to Woodmoor PTSA, making it go further.
Check with your company's Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching. (If they don't, you may want to ask your company to start one.) If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to Woodmoor PTSA along with your donation.

Members are encouraged to attend to voice their ideas and see what's happening with PTSA.

The business portion is kept short and provides an overview of finances and activities. We ofetn include a guest speaker at these meetings for the benefit of our membership on a variety of topics. Art education helps kids with spatial awareness, problem solving, and creative thinking and reasoning; all skills necessary to increase your child’s success in subjects like math and science.

Becoming an Art Docent is easy, requires only a small time commitment and NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE is necessary. Each grade-level art project has already been created by Northshore School District. All you need to do is meet with your child’s teacher to go over the monthly activity and then deliver the project to the class. That’s all there is to it! Your kids will love to see you in class and around school. And most of all, you will have a blast!

We really hope you will consider volunteering your time enriching Woodmoor students’ education through art! Please feel free to contact us here if you have any questions about the program or you would like to volunteer.
