Many companies have programs through which they will "match" the charitable contributions made by their employees. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to Woodmoor PTSA, making it go further.
Check with your company's Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching. (If they don't, you may want to ask your company to start one.) If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to Woodmoor PTSA along with your donation.

Art education helps kids with spatial awareness, problem solving, and creative thinking and reasoning; all skills necessary to increase your child’s success in subjects like math and science.

Becoming an Art Docent is easy, requires only a small time commitment and NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE is necessary. Each grade-level art project has already been created by Northshore School District. All you need to do is meet with your child’s teacher to go over the monthly activity and then deliver the project to the class. That’s all there is to it! Your kids will love to see you in class and around school. And most of all, you will have a blast!

We really hope you will consider volunteering your time enriching Woodmoor students’ education through art! Please feel free to contact us here if you have any questions about the program or you would like to volunteer.

Meetings are held monthly, usually in the morning at Woodmoor. General meetings are held three times per year - usually October, January, and April. These are typically evening meetings that the entire PTSA membership is expected to attend. Amendments to the Standing Rules (Fall), election of the Nominating Committee (Winter), adoption of the budget and election of the officers (Spring) takes place, with a majority of those present needed to carry motions. The business portion is kept short and provides an overview of finances and activities. We welcome all members to come and see what's happening at Woodmoor!
