Woodmoor PTSA's Care Team is focused on helping to identify and address needs of our families by creating community resources and support.

The 2023-24 school year's efforts were focused on:

Sock-tober

Collecting donations of new socks & underwear to benefit Treads & Threads & the Woodmoor School Nurse

Thanks to all of the generous donations we received, we collected 534 pairs of socks and 30 pairs of underwear during SOCK-TOBER!

Winter Gift Card Drive

The Woodmoor Care Team and Woodmoor PTSA  collected gift cards for those in need in our community during Winter Break.  These included Grocery Stores, Target, Amazon, Walmart, etc.

Our gift card drive raised $2,000 & we were able to help support 42 students!

Snack Drive

Hunger can impact a child's school performance

Research shows that students perform better and concentrate more when they are not hungry

Woodmoor PTSA hosted  a snack drive throughout the month of November to ensure that we had an extra supply of snacks for students who need a quick snack to help them throughout the day
Costume Closet:
To ensure that everyone at Woodmoor had a fun costume for the Monster Mash dance, we collected new & gently used costumes.  Students had to the opportunity to keep their costume to use them at any other festive activities that they participated in with their families!
